These terms are an agreement between you and Region Beacon ("we", "us"), which operates Region Beacon. By using the site or listing a business on it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Region Beacon is a directory and lead service. Customers describe a job and local businesses respond with quotes. We are not a party to any work that results. We do not perform services, employ or supervise any business, guarantee any quote, set any price, or handle payment between a customer and a business. Any agreement, payment, or dispute over the actual work is strictly between the customer and the business.
Browsing and requesting quotes is free. Vet any business before hiring: confirm their license and insurance yourself, get the quote in writing, and use your own judgment. A listing on Region Beacon is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a guarantee of quality. We do not verify licences, insurance, or credentials. Any licence number shown on a listing is what that business typed in, displayed as they gave it to us and never checked by us. Every listing links to the relevant state licensing board so you can check it yourself before hiring anyone.
Parts of the site use AI to suggest categories, draft text, and estimate typical price ranges. These outputs are automated estimates and can be wrong. They are not professional advice, not a quote, and not a promise of any price. Always rely on a written quote from an actual business.
You keep ownership of everything you post. You give us permission to display, store, and distribute it for the purpose of running and promoting the site. You can remove your content at any time, though copies may remain in backups for a period.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any business listed on it will be suitable, available, competent, or honest.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from work performed or not performed by a business you found here. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You agree to cover our costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the site, your content, or your breach of these terms.
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the change.
You may stop and cancel at any time (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy). We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
